MailChimp 2020 user guide

MailChimp is a great Email Marketing tool used by many Blogger and Webmaster. If you do not know how to install and use MailChimp, read this article.

What is MailChimp?

MailChimp is an Email Marketing service. You use it to collect Email and send Mail to customers in the list obtained from MailChimp.

Currently there are many services but the most outstanding is MailChimp.

Instructions for registering MailChimp account

Step 1: Access to the address https://login.mailchimp.com/signup/ to register

Note: Passwords must contain uppercase, lowercase letters, special characters, numbers, greater than 8 characters.

Step 2: Go to the Email to confirm the link

Click on it I'm not a robot => then press Confirm Signup.

Choose package Free => Complete

Step 3: Enter your first and last name => Continue

Step 4: Fill is Personal Blog => Enter website address => Continue

Step 5: Enter the address where you live, city, Postal code => Continue

Step 6: Select No => Continue

Step 7: Click Ok, Let’s Do It

Step 8: MailChimp ask anything, you just press No

That's the step to sign up for MailChimp account.

Instructions for installing MailChimp

Step 1: Click on Audience => Connect site

Step 2: Scroll down to click Website Builder => Select WordPress

Step 3: Enter the domain name => Press Get code

Step 4: Copy the code

Go to WordPress admin => Select Appearance => Theme Editor => Find to Header.php

Paste the code before the tag

Then click confirm on MailChimp

Instructions to create the Registration Form

Step 1: Click on Audience

Click on it Manage Audience => Signup Forms

Step 2: I will choose the form Form Subscriber pop-up

You can choose either Form builder or Embedded forms

Step 3: This step will set up and decorate the form. This paragraph you design your own discretion

Format: Modal, Slide, Fixed format

Display: After 5s, 20s ...

Done press Publish to finish

Now try to load your website's homepage to see if anything appears.

Using the MC4WP Plugin: Mailchimp for WordPress

If you do not like the installation of the registration form as above, you can use Pugin MC4WP.

Download here

Step 1: Go to MC4WP => Click on MailChimp

Step 2: Click Get your API key here

Step 3: Click Create A Key

Copy the code you just created, as shown in step 2.

Step 4: Go to Form => Add the required fields to Form => Click Save changes => Copy the Shortcode into the Widget

Click on the Settings tab => Check and then save
