#first. What is iPhone SE?
The first iPhone SE was launched in March 2016, after four models of the iPhone 6 Series. This is the machine that Apple launched to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the first iPhone was born.

If the iPhone SE 2 was released this time not to celebrate the time since the first iPhone was launched, what is its true purpose?
Both the iPhone SEs launched not only meant to commemorate the journey that Apple iPhone went through, but it was also a memorial version for older iPhones.
iPhone 4, 4S, 5, 5S and 5C all use the same design language, and the same screen aspect ratio, which made the feature for the early iPhones.
The next four iPhones in the iPhone 6 Series launched with new technology, a new design, then the iPhone SE came back with the same design as the iPhone 5S, and since then no one has a similar design. So again.
In other words, the iPhone SE is the end of a typical iPhone design.
Similarly, the iPhone SE 2 launch will probably be the end of the iPhone 6, 7 and 8 design, the design they have abandoned since iPhone X.
Next: Why is Apple using a small screen size for iPhone SE 2?
Steve Jobs was wrong when he said that no one would use a phone with a large screen to work and communicate. Due to the optimal production line and cost, it is currently difficult to get a big OEM but also produce a machine with a small screen.
Personally, the 5.2-inch screen, along with the 16: 9 aspect ratio, is the best. And the 4.7-inch screen is already small.
Tim Cook made the iPhone 6, 7, and 8 with a 4.7-inch screen because previous iPhone users were accustomed to small screens, and made a Plus with a 5.5-inch screen for those who liked the screen. large image.
But perhaps until now, Apple has been able to ditch iPhones with smaller screen sizes, after it has launched a series of devices with screens larger than 6 inches. So the question is why doesn't Apple make an iPhone SE 2 Plus with a large screen?
Unnecessary ! Whether it's a memorial or a memorial, one device is enough. And from the beginning, they had no expectation that iPhone SE sales would overwhelm other devices of the same price range.

I think no. At least this is true for the Vietnamese market.
The iPhone 8 has been extremely disappointing for iPhone and iFan users, and after two years of absence, a device similar to the iPhone 8 was released.
Although Apple is sure that the iPhone SE 2 will have a low sales, but they still launched for the reasons mentioned above.
In Vietnam, when a sizable portion of iPhone users mostly let it go, it is more expensive to spend 10 million to buy an old iPhone X or XR than to buy a new iPhone SE, which looks like the iPhone 6.
Because after 2 years of absence, this design is time to be forgotten, not to become a sign of a more expensive iPhone.
Even without showing off, the audience for the device is still very small, and mostly waiting for used goods, locks, laptops, 99%, Bypass, ... to buy games or make auxiliary devices, because they also think that iPhone SE 2 is not worthy to spend $ 400.
But let's say it again, no matter how hard it is, by the end of 2019, the number of iPhone 8 units sold will be at the top of the international market, behind iPhone XR, iPhone 11, Samsung Galaxy A50, Galaxy. The A10 and Oppo A5, even stand on the iPhone 11 Pro Max. The international market does not seem to be as expensive as our Vietnam!
